Flood prevention

Just for the sake of it I would one day like to see foresight in the world of politics rather than hindsight. Flood prevention should be as important as Fire prevention through due diligence as a national plan.

Not just a profitable asset of selling water licences to the highest bidders. Or investing in infrastructure rebuilds after a natural disaster.

One day this might happen. 1956 was a major flood in NSW, VIC and SA, and loss. Now we have weather modelling in this day and age, so hopefully there is some plan in place and someone to make flood prevention and response team a coordinated effort.
